Benefits of Clear Vision Motorcycle Goggles

The GearSome of us use motorcycle goggles when we doing some Adventure riding, keeping your goggles in good working condition is simple enough. And it makes sense to look after them because if you can see where you're going then I doubt you'll be able to enjoy your riding.

It's common to see riders pulling their dirty motorcycle goggles off and continuing riding without protection for their eyes. This is totally crazy because eye damage can easily wreck a good day out on the trails or forest road.

Motorcycle goggles protect your eyes from roost, insects, wind, dust, stones and rain, not to mention sticks and branches when riding through single trail. The potential for something finding its way into your eyes is very high indeed.

So why would you ever want to remove your goggles? Lens fogging is a always common reason why riders remove their goggles. Riding in the rain is hard on goggles but if you prepare for the worst there's really no reason why you shouldn't be riding with goggles on all the time.

If conditions are likely to be totally foul, invest in a quality double anti-fog lens. These pieces of ingenious equipment are worth their weight in gold on the crappiest of crap days. The outside lens is a normal scratch-resistant lens but the inside lens is super soft and designed to absorb moisture. As the lens is so soft, it scratches very easily, so take special care of your double anti-fog lenses.

If you have a couple on pairs of goggles, keep a spare pair in a sealed plastic bag in you jacket pocket or in your backpack. Putting on a nice clean pair of goggles halfway through a touch and muddy journey is even better than putting on dry and clean gloves.

Goggles are simple pieces of equipment and they're just as simple to keep on good condition. A little bit of effort will have you seeing a long long way.
