Been Out Riding, Tell Us All About It

You don need to have stumbled on the side of 12 misty mountains, ridden six crappy highways, stepped in the middle of seven sad forests, been out in front of a dozen dead oceans or even been 20,000 kilometers in the mouth of a graveyard. Just a long weekend's riding your motorcycle into the hills is plenty. And we don't mind if it was a hard rain that was falling or if you had sunshine. No.

What we're after is some more stories about readers' rides. You may have noticed that we've been slipping a few of them in recently, just testing the water. The response has been good, so we're formalizing the idea. But we don't just want anything.

One of the main reasons people give for visiting Bike Touring Asia is that they like to do the trips themselves. That means that our travel stories need to inform as well as entertaining; if you've been somewhere that requires a permit, for example, tell us how to get one of those.

Don't just write 'we-started-here-and-then-we-went-there' narrative. Tell us stuff that's interesting to everybody not just you and your friends.
